Meet Steve.
In 2006, Charlene and Steve Dunn planted Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir on their estate located in the lush and fertile heart of the Willamette Valley AVA, Oregon’s internationally renowned wine country.
In 2015 the Dunn’s entered some wine competitions… “We entered 3 competitions and won 7 medals.”
They built the Fieldhouse right next to the vineyard as to allow the open and covered patios to view the vineyard and the territorial vistas of the surrounding farmland and a full panorama of the coast range as far as your eyes can see.
The Fieldhouse became the tasting room and the host of the Redgate Vineyard’s Summer Concert Series live music during the summer evenings, as well as the Woodstove Winter Concert Series. The new and old friends that pass through the tasting room doors have really become the highlight of our daily lives.
We feel privileged to live where we live and share our good fortune with friends and travelers alike.
Our mission has always been to endeavor to enrich the lives of all who enter with fine wines , good music, and positive conversations with compassion and a thirst for life.
Charlene succumbed October 16th, 2022 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
